Meet Amina

An original illustration that I created specifically for the V&A Museum Gift Shop in South Kensington as part of the V&A Museum's Africa Fashion exhibition, which ran from July 2022 - April 2023.

The exhibition explored the global impact of contemporary African fashion through photographs, textiles, music and visual arts. The mark-making and patternwork in the illustration is inspired by Àdìrẹ - Yoruba Indigo cloth.
